GPSS was founded as a Société Anonyme by Patrick Witte, Michel Witte and Philipp Fisch in April 2021. Our goal is to make renewable energies accessible and usable for various users through innovative approaches in the field of production and storage.
Since our founding, we have selectively expanded our team through specialised competences:
General Manager
Engineer, M. Sc. RWTH Aachen
In my role as Founder and General Manager of the company, I manage the activities of GPSS. My focus is on filling a gap in Luxembourg’s energy ecosystem through the development of renewable energies and the local production of green hydrogen. For this purpose, I am approaching potential partners and customers for the realisation of further projects.
Director & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Engineer, M. Sc. RWTH Aachen
As part of the founding team and CTO at GPSS, I contribute my expertise to the consulting, realisation and technical development of our energy ecosystems. I am of the opinion that hydrogen is the energy carrier of the future. That is why I decided to specialise in the application of hydrogen during my studies through my thesis and my scientific work.
Project Manager Agri-PV
Biologist, M. Sc. Environmental Sciences
As a Project Manager, I consult clients and develop flexible solutions for the realisation of Agri-PV systems that are adapted to their needs. Thanks to my studies in the field of environmental sciences, I acquired the necessary knowledge about the agricultural prerequisites for an optimal adaption of power production to those demands.
Technical Director
Engineer, M. Sc. RWTH Aachen
At GPSS, I am responsible as Technical Director for the technical planning and implementation of our projects in the field of renewable energy, particularly Agri-PV, battery storage systems and green hydrogen. My work focuses on developing integrated energy concepts – from initial technical feasibility analysis and system design through to detailed planning, tendering and project implementation.
Project Manager
As part of the team at GPSS, I contribute my experience to the development, planning, and implementation of sustainable and economically optimized energy systems. My focus lies on integrating photovoltaic systems, storage solutions, and hydrogen technologies into holistic energy solutions. In doing so, I aim to combine innovative technologies with practical applications and thereby make an active contribution to the successful implementation of the energy transition.

In my previous position as CEO and Co-Founder of IEE, I obtained many years of experience in the management of an internationally operating company. As a Director and Founder, I bring this knowledge and the network of contacts I have developed into the activities of GPSS.
