Alongside <strong>Patrick Witte (GPSS S.A.)<\/strong> and <strong>Paul Zeimet (Soler S.A.)<\/strong> representing the project consortium, the <strong>Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles<\/strong>, as well as <strong>Mrs. Sanna Alaranta from Luxinnovation<\/strong>, took part.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"392\" data-end=\"1056\">With ECHO-WAVE (\u201c<strong>E<\/strong>nergy <strong>C<\/strong>ommunity for <strong>H<\/strong>ydrogen <strong>O<\/strong>n-site Production from <strong>W<\/strong>ind and <strong>A<\/strong>gri<strong>V<\/strong>oltaics for Industry D<strong>E<\/strong>carbonisation\u201d), the first Luxembourg-based project supported under the European <strong>Innovation Fund Call<\/strong> has been launched. The project receives EU funding of \u20ac12,964,904, which complements the national support provided by the Ministry of the Economy (MECO) through Luxembourg\u2019s successful participation in the national pilot call for green hydrogen production. I congratulate both companies on this important milestone \u2013 the first Luxembourg project to be funded by the European Innovation Fund. This is where innovative ideas are being brought to life: hydrogen production powered by wind and PV electricity, along with battery storage for intermediate power balancing. The realisation of this project will be a key piece of the puzzle in our national energy transition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1954\">Ms. Alaranta also emphasised that ECHO-WAVE\u2019s successful participation in the highly competitive Innovation Fund represents an outstanding achievement for Luxembourg and the Greater Region. She encouraged other Luxembourg companies to follow GPSS\u2019s example and also take part in European calls with innovative projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1956\" data-end=\"2079\">The event was attended by representatives of the national press.
